Much of what makes a vacation special is not only the location but the space you choose to stay in as well

I ventured to Paris— Solo, for my 23rd birthday and knew I wanted a space that had ample opportunities to create content, amazing windows, excess light and lots of plants.

I settled on this amazing Airbnb that boasted a view of Sacré-Cœur from the kitchen window, close proximity (literally just a block away!) to Gare du Nord train station, amazing decor and vibrant community.

When I found this listing I just knew I had to stay here. Even if for only a couple of days, which is just what I did.

Throughout my week and a half in Paris, I split my time between this lovely Airbnb in the 10th Arrondissement and Hôtel Doisy, a boutique hotel of 33 rooms in the 17th Arrondissement, just steps from the Arc de Triomphe.

Both gave the aura of charm and uniqueness that only comes from spending hours (8+) searching for the perfect place to lay your head during your getaway.

My Airbnb was located in the 10th Arrondissement, a dense neighborhood that is home to a large Indian and Turkish community and often nicknamed Little India and "La Petite Turquie" (Little Turkey).

It made for fond evening strolls around the area and discovering some of the neighboring family owned shops and restaurants.

What drew me near to this Airbnb was mostly the decor. In my search, I knew that creating content would be a large part of my time spent in Paris, and I wanted to be given the luxury of being comfortable while I create.

I was immediately drawn to the many shelves of books, projector in the bedroom, eclectic decor and the amazing herringbone hardwood floors. It really doesn’t get better than this.

The apartment was so cozy and warm, especially for a rainy Winter in Paris, and added a true Parisian charm to my visit.
